Retirement Planning for 30-Somethings

Be honest--how many of the 30-somethings out there think you will have no troubles in retirement because sometime between now and then you'll win the lotto?

Once upon a time employees could work one job their entire lives--jobs that included pensions, insurance, and security. Today, employees need to be more self-reliant because there is no security in the work place. Your benefits may be here today, gone tomorrow--and pensions...ha ha, good luck getting one unless you work at UPS or the post office.

This blog is dedicated to ways that the 30-sometimes crowd, and the self-employed can sock something away for retirement.
